They are seeking an engineer looking to take on a leading role within a firm that offers scope to progress in a small, supportive team looking with a breadth of experience, where there will be opportunities for significant input into, and management of projects, all over the UK.
Role
-
Help run projects and assist in checking other engineers' work.

Conducting calculations, structural analysis, and design work for residential projects, extensions, conversions, and specialist steel connections.

Work closely and collaboratively with architects and clients.
Requirements
-
Chartered or working towards Chartership
-
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
-
Minimum of 5 years' track record working in building structures
-
Calculations and Structural Analysis skills
-
Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering knowledge
-
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
-
Proficiency in Tekla Tedds & Bluebeam
-
Knowledge of UK building practices
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-
Background with with Modern Methods of Construction
-
Civil engineering background is useful but not essential
