Senior / Associate Structural Engineer sought at this growing SME Structural Consultancy. The role is based in London.

Overview
Our client is a vibrant and forward-thinking structural consultancy looking for a skilled Senior Engineer to assist in the running of a team and grow with the company.
You’ll work on a range of projects including the complex refurbishments, mass housing projects, school projects, as well as architecturally challenging private residential projects and healthcare schemes. And you’ll be part of a team who are imaginative, creative and ambitious- striving to do things better. We are looking for like-minded individuals who can help us continue to deliver these amazing projects and have a positive impact on society.
Responsibilities

Structural analysis, design and detailing for all types of buildings and materials generally to UK building codes.

Supervision and management of other engineers and BIM technicians.

Coordination of design work with in-house and external staff, as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines.

Communicate with clients and other design professionals to understand project requirements.

Role will involve some travel within the UK.

Help with training their next generation of engineers.
Requirements

Degree (Master’s or equivalent preferred) in structural engineering or related field.

Chartered Engineer Status (IStructE) preferred

6+ years of post-graduate background, mostly within the UK

Strong technical skills.

Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and graphical / sketches.

Working knowledge preferred of current industry software, such as Autodesk Robot, Tekla Structural Designer / Tedds, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
