Ground Investigation Area Manager sought at a leading, Medium-sized Ground Investigation Company. This excellent opportunity is based in Oldham.

Overview

Our client is a leader in the provision of ground investigation services. Their expertise covers both geotechnical and geoenvironmental aspects, as well as laboratory services, across a wide range of sectors nationwide.
 
As Ground Investigation Area Manager you will be accountable for the delivery of ground investigation services in particular associated with the North West regional office in Oldham. The role includes preparation of tenders, technical and financial project management and participating in business development. The role has specific responsibilities for developing the office, which also covers part of Yorkshire and the Midlands.
 
The key performance indicators will be set in conjunction with the directors on an annual basis. As a guideline the Regional Manager is expected to ensure that all technical work is carried out to a high standard, on time and within budget. It is also expected that the person will highlight new business opportunities and clients. Key division of time spent on each part of the job will be set on an annual basis and reviewed regularly.

Requirements

  • BSc (MSc preferable) relevant degree
  • Minium 10 years’ relevant construction background
  • Must have a track record of working on rail projects
  • Chartered Status
  • Full driving licence
