Our client is looking for a talented Associate Structural Engineer with a track record across a wide variety of projects and sectors, who is interested in working at the cutting-edge of the industry in a technically demanding role. Based in their London office, you will join a talented, highly performing structural team.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of Technical Specifications and checking the work/specifications of other Engineers in the team

Leadership of projects on behalf of the group, taking ownership for sustained and productive client relationships.

Reviewing job financial performance and managing resources accordingly.

Guiding less experienced team members in order to achieve the project success.

Supporting delivery of the team’s Performance and Development Review process.

Providing support in seeking new work from existing clients.

Preparing bid proposals and additional fee proposals (with the support of the Group Directors, Associate Directors and Bid team colleagues)
Requirements
-
An outstanding foundation as a technical and project leader, demonstrated via a track record of successful delivery over a sustained period within the industry.

Mentoring and leadership track record: desire and ability to support in developing individuals skills, whilst encouraging collaboration and cohesive teamwork.

Overseas and domestic project background, ideally within multiple sectors although the company’s varied portfolio will further extend this.

Solid Educational foundation - ideally a degree and post-graduate qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline as well as professional registration with the ECUK or other body and membership of a relevant institution such as the ICE or IStructE.
